We understand that plans sometimes change. Below you will find our cancellation terms, which apply to all Purecharters bookings.
Cancellation fees are based on the time between the cancellation and the original booking date:
All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to info@purecharters.com. The cancellation date is the date on which we receive your written confirmation.
Safety always comes first. The skipper has final authority over all decisions relating to the safety of the vessel and passengers. In the event of unsuitable weather conditions, the skipper may adjust the route or itinerary without this constituting grounds for a refund.
No refund is given for general weather conditions such as rain, wind or reduced visibility. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance that covers trip interruption due to weather.
In the event of exceptional circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to named storms, hurricanes, official port closures or government-imposed travel restrictions, Purecharters will make every effort to offer an alternative date or a credit for a future charter. Cash refunds are generally not possible in force majeure situations due to fixed charter costs.
In the rare event that Purecharters must cancel your charter due to circumstances on our side, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule at no extra cost.
Travel insurance is mandatory for all guests. Your policy must cover trip cancellation and interruption, named storm or hurricane coverage, and emergency medical assistance for sailing and water activities. Proof of insurance may be requested before departure.
